Stask is a task tracker for Linux.

Tasks are stored in a stack; The most recent task occupies the top of the stack, and becomes the current work item. Once finished, the previous item is shown instead.
Stask only ever shows one work item at a time, and never reveals how many items are hidden by it. The only thing that matters in Stask is what you're doing right now, not what you've put off. Stask is designed specifically for you to avoid thinking about anything but your current task. Embrace sidequests knowing that you'll actually be able to get back to what you were doing before. Leave yourself breadcrumbs so you remember what your tasks were meant to unblock once they're done.
This application is based on Dave Gauer's project stack, with improvements in usability that elevate Stask compared to the paper system that inspired it.

Stask is currently unreleased, but its source code is available on Codeberg and includes instructions for building it on Linux.
